Within the framework of 2018 Erasmus + CA107 project, on June 18-23, 2018 a teacher of the Department of Romance Philology and Comparative-typological Linguistics, the Institute of Philology, Olena Vitalievna Cherepashuk took part in the work of IV International Staff Week in Cadiz, Spain,. It was an unforgettable week of new discoveries, impressions, meetings with representatives from various universities from 50 countries and a wonderful team of professionals from the University of Cadiz. During the visit O.Cherepashuk was handed in a signed agreement on further cooperation between two universities, the University of Cadiz and Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University. Taking part in academic mobility program, O. Cherepashuk gained new experience, got acquainted with new methods of teaching Spanish, participated in an international forum, visited Campus Tecnológico in Algeciras, faculty of Marine and Natural Sciences, got to know the details of the project DIEGO.

‘India and the World’ Lecture by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Ukraine

On May 30, 2018, Mr. Manoj Kumar Bharti, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Ukraine, gave a guest lecture on "India and the World" at the Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University.

The Ambassador informed the students and professors of the features of the geographical location of India and its political structure, religious values and cultural traditions. The Indian Cultural Center enriched the event with Indian folk dances and playing musical instruments.

Following the event, Dr. Viktor Ogneviuk, Rector of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University and Mr. Manoj Kumar Bharti, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Ukraine discussed opportunities for future cooperation.

On the 14th – 17th 2011 in Malmo, Sweden, the General Assembly of European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) approved the application form of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University as an Associate Member of EAEA.


European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) is the European non-profit organization and a European NGO with 116 member organizations in 43 countries. EAEA influences EU policies on non-formal adult education and lifelong learning; represents adult education civil society in official working groups and conferences.

The benefits for our University as a member of the Association are as follows:

- We get access to Association services and benefit from their work.

- We can add our voice to the debate on adult education and actively support the advocacy work for adult education in Europe.

- We join a network of more than 120 associations from across Europe and more than 120 associations from across Europe.

- We can join EAEA events and share information and experiences in the educational issues.
