On October 28, 2019, at the meeting of the Council of the European University Association, the status of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University was revised and its powers were extended by granting the University the status of Individual Full member of this influential institution. It has become possible due to the successful international activity and the growth of its rating in the European educational space, the support and implementation of European values in the mission of the University.

On the 14th – 17th 2011 in Malmo, Sweden, the General Assembly of European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) approved the application form of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University as an Associate Member of EAEA.
