On April 28th director of European programs of the American Studies “The Fund for the American Studies” (USA), member of the board of trustees of Anglo-American University in Prague, the founder of the Lviv Academy of Leadership, a member of the Board of Directors “Free Ukraine” Matthew Kwasiborski had an open lecture for students and pedagogical stuff of Faculty of Law and International Relations and the Institute of Philology of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University on “President Trump and Leadership: What We Have Learned in the Early Days of His Administration”.
The event was organized by the Faculty of Law and International Relations, Chair of Romance Philology and Comparative-typological Linguistics Institute of Philology, SRL of internationalization of higher education.

National and Kapodistrion University of Athens

 

Within the program Erasmus + with National and Kapodistrian University of Athens lecturers of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University: MykhailoVideyko, Head of Research Laboratory of Archeology and Sergiy Golovanov, Associate Professor of the Chair of World History Faculty History and Philosophy had the opportunity to participate in scientific training at partner university during the period from 24.04 to 30.04.2017 year.

During the week-long scientific training Mykhailo Videyko gave lectures to students of prehistory and archeology of Greek university, worked on materials in academic libraries and attended the conference of local researches of antiquities and cultural heritage guards.

While the program of academic mobility Sergiy Golovanov had analyzed of pedagogical experience of the Department of Archeology and History, and had teaching practice.

Students and teachers of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens gladly listened to lectures by M. Videyko and S. Golovanov, deepening their knowledge about the history of Ukraine. Within one week stay in Greece, our university colleagues also acquainted with the organizational structure of the foreign university and established a lot of scientific contacts.

On the 14th – 17th 2011 in Malmo, Sweden, the General Assembly of European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) approved the application form of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University as an Associate Member of EAEA.


European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) is the European non-profit organization and a European NGO with 116 member organizations in 43 countries. EAEA influences EU policies on non-formal adult education and lifelong learning; represents adult education civil society in official working groups and conferences.

The benefits for our University as a member of the Association are as follows:

- We can add our voice to the debate on adult education and actively support the advocacy work for adult education in Europe.
