First semester of 2022/2023 academic year
Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra (Slovakia)
During the spring semester of 2022/2023 academic year, students of the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology are participating in the Erasmus+ academic mobility program at Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra (Slovakia) in the field of study “Philology” (German Language and Literature).
Due to such exchange programs, students of Grinchenko University get an amazing opportunity to study under a credit mobility program abroad, improve their foreign language skills and develop soft skills.
Mobility participant Anna Hurina shares her impressions of the mobility program:
“Many people have heard the word Erasmus in the context of short-term and long-term exchanges, but only those who have participated in exchanges understand the meaning of this word. Erasmus is not just about sharing knowledge, cultures, and experiences. It is a new page of life, incredibly colorful, full of events, smiles, travels, and acquaintances. I have participated in three short-term Erasmus projects, but this is the first long-term project. The previous projects were incredible, but time passed quickly and as soon as I said "hello" I had to say "see you soon".
The exchange in Nitra will last for 5 months, and although I've been here for only three weeks, I can confidently say that I absolutely love it so far. In addition to studying, my life includes weekly meetings with Erasmus participants from other countries and learning about Slovak culture. My knowledge is not theoretical - from books, but practical, and therefore so valuable. I discover new traditions, worldviews, beliefs, and refute existing stereotypes.
I advise everyone who wants to get an unforgettable experience to take part in such a program. You will definitely not regret it."
