Working visit of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University’s participants of the international research project team IRNet took place at Extremadura University, Spain From June 28 to July 6, 2017.

Irnet is International Research Network for study and development of new tools and methods for advanced pedagogical science in the field of ICT instruments, e- Learning and intercultural competences) of the 7th Framework Program of the European Commission for Science and Education.

A team of researchers was led by Natalia Morze, DSc in Pedagogy, vice-rector on Informatization activity in KUBG and Tetiana Lyakh, PhD, Associate Professor of Social Education and Social Work, deputy Director of Institute of Human Sciences.

The objectives and program of the project included participation of the international research group of the IRNet project in a number of scientific events. Including:
Discussions on national and international concepts of international research, higher education goals and policies in Poland, the Netherlands, Spain, Slovak Republic, Czech Republic, Portugal, Australia, Ukraine and Russia;
Meeting with development tools comparative study of changing educational and social missions of universities in the field of ICT, e-learning, intercultural competence (and the internationalization of higher education) in Poland, the Netherlands, Spain, Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Portugal, Australia, Ukraine, Russia;
Meeting with Professor Prudencia Gutiérrez Esteban, EU, having adapted the Spanish universities experience, Ukrainian team developed the questionnaire and survey "Motivation European University in research collaboration";
Discussions on research methodology of doctoral thesis in the context of e-learning (moderator Professor Sixto Cubo, EU).

University of Cadiz, Spain

More than 90 representatives of higher education institutions of Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Moldova, Latvia, Austria, Morocco and other countries attended the International Staff Week.

The internship program included familiarization with the specifics of work and education at the University of Cadiz (Spain), familiarization with the current state of the process of internationalization of higher education in Europe, discussion of prospects for cooperation within the Erasmus + program, presentation of the country and university of each participant in the internship program, familiarization with cultural peculiarities and traditions Spain and more.

On the 14th – 17th 2011 in Malmo, Sweden, the General Assembly of European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) approved the application form of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University as an Associate Member of EAEA.


European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) is the European non-profit organization and a European NGO with 116 member organizations in 43 countries. EAEA influences EU policies on non-formal adult education and lifelong learning; represents adult education civil society in official working groups and conferences.
