On October 31, 2024, Academic Council of the University approved a report on the results of the implementation of the research theme of the Department of Ukrainian Literature, Comparative and Grinchenko Studies, Department of World Literature at the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology, Culture and Art “Typology of Identities in Artistic and Critical Discourses” (registration number: 0117U005200; deadline: November 2017 - November 2024; theme leaders: Doctor of Science in Philology, Professor Olena Brovko, PhD in Philology, Professor Yurii Kovbasenko). The results of the research were presented by Olena Brovko, Head of the Department of Ukrainian Literature, Comparative and Grinchenko Studies. The research topic involved 20 academic and research staff of the departments, 79 students of the first (bachelor's), second (master's), third (educational and scientific) levels of higher education and the degree of doctor of science.

On October 21, 2024, the implementation of the international project "Bridge to Inclusion: Accelerating the Value of Special Needs Education" funded by the Ministry of Education of Finland (TFK, Ukraine program 2024) began with a research visit of the delegation of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University of the Faculty of Psychology, Social Work and Special Education. The delegation consists of the Dean of the Faculty Nataliia Klishevych, PhD in Education, Associate Professor; Deputy Dean of the Faculty for Scientific, Methodological and Educational Work Roman Pavliuk, PhD in Education, Associate Professor; Head of the Department of Special and Inclusive Education Olena Martynchuk, Doctor of Pedagogy, Associate Professor; Tetiana Skrypnyk, Professor of the Department of Special and Inclusive Education, Doctor of Psychology, Senior Researcher; Associate Professor of the Department of Special and Inclusive Education Nataliia Babych, PhD in Education, Associate Professor; Associate Professor of the Department of Special and Inclusive Education Halyna Vasylieva, PhD in Education; Lecturer of the Department of Special and Inclusive Education, Sofie Marie Ganevich.

On the 14th – 17th 2011 in Malmo, Sweden, the General Assembly of European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) approved the application form of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University as an Associate Member of EAEA.


European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) is the European non-profit organization and a European NGO with 116 member organizations in 43 countries. EAEA influences EU policies on non-formal adult education and lifelong learning; represents adult education civil society in official working groups and conferences.
