On October 10, 2025, an official reception was held to mark the National Day of Spain, organized by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Spain in Ukraine.

The reception was attended by Acting Rector of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University, Honored Education Worker of Ukraine Oleksandr Turuntsev, Vice-Rector for Research and International Affairs, Head of the University Academic Council, Doctor of Science in Philology, Professor Nataliia Vinnikova and Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, PhD in Art Studies, Associate Professor Ostap Kovalchuk.

Embassy of Hungary in Ukraine

On 3 October 2025, Acting Rector Oleksandr Turuntsev, Vice-Rector for Research and International Affairs, Head of Academic Council of the University Nataliia Vinnikova, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design Ostap Kovalchuk, Head of the Department of Preschool Education at the Faculty of Pedagogical Education Olena Polovina, Associate Professor of the same department Olena Kovalenko, master's students majoring in Preschool Education, Associate Professor of the Department of Educational Leadership at the In-Service Training Institute Oksana Matviichuk visited the Hungarian Embassy in Ukraine and took part in an event marking the 250th anniversary of the birth of the famous Hungarian educator Teresa Brunswik. At a round table and exhibition organised by the Hungarian Embassy in cooperation with the Pedagogical Museum of Ukraine, the memory of Ukrainian educator Sofiia Rusova, founder of the first kindergarten in Ukraine, was honoured.

On the 14th – 17th 2011 in Malmo, Sweden, the General Assembly of European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) approved the application form of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University as an Associate Member of EAEA.

European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) is the European non-profit organization and a European NGO with 116 member organizations in 43 countries. EAEA influences EU policies on non-formal adult education and lifelong learning; represents adult education civil society in official working groups and conferences.

The benefits for our University as a member of the Association are as follows:

- We get access to Association services and benefit from their work.

- We can add our voice to the debate on adult education and actively support the advocacy work for adult education in Europe.

- We join a network of more than 120 associations from across Europe and more than 120 associations from across Europe.

- We can join EAEA events and share information and experiences in the educational issues.
