  International cooperation

  International cooperation is one of the major directions of the University's activities. The University is actively working towards the internationalization of higher education.

  The University is internationally recognized through joining the Magna Charter Universitatum, the International Association of Universities (IAU) and the European University Association (EUA). Among others, the goal of University's international activity is to create new academic opportunities for the professional growth of academic staff and students. Our University cooperates with colleges and universities from the US, Finland, Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Israel, Poland, Cyprus, Portugal, Latvia, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, Croatia, Turkey, China etc.
As a participant of the "Erasmus +" educational exchange program, the University offers the opportunity to gain international academic experience at universities of different countries. It promotes academic mobility of all participants of the educational process, encourages participation of teaching and academic staff in international research projects in accordance with international treaties of Ukraine, as well as University's agreements with foreign partners.

  The University is actively implementing joint projects with international organizations such as the European Commission, the World Bank, Co-Serve International, as well as the British Council in Ukraine, the Alliance for the Promotion of External Testing Program (USETI), Fulbright Program in Ukraine, American Councils for International Education (Ukraine).

Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University is a student-centered, research intensive and globally involved university with over 120-year history.

Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University was formed through the merger of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University and Municipal Higher Education Institution 'Kyiv Academy of Arts' (01.01.2024).

Innovative education methods, long-term teaching traditions and close links with public institutions and businesses raise competitiveness of our graduates and help them contribute to the development of our society and state.

Over 9 thousand students get their education within different specialties. Our University offers 49 bachelor's programs, 55 master's programs, and 14 postgraduate programs. Furthermore, we provide opportunities for doctoral studies through five scientific program subject areas.Long-term educational traditions and philosophy of servant leadership ensures personal development of students and staff. Building trust relationships and promoting important social values are the basis for the corporate culture of our University.

The corporate culture of the University is based on the philosophy of servant-leadership that professes human development and building of human relationships as the most important social values. The philosophy also relies on forming a sense of responsibility as the main tool of self-development as well as building interpersonal relations on the basis of trust and support.

      Internationalization
        

   Students and staff of the University are actively engaged in charity and volunteering activities. The support is provided to the Armed Forces of Ukraine operating in the conflict zone in the east of the country, specialized educational institutions (boarding schools and sanatorium-type boarding schools for children with special needs), orphanages and shelters. For six years in a row, the University has been a volunteer partner of “The Chestnut Run”, the most massive sports and charitable event in Ukraine. The funds raised under the project are directed to the purchase of equipment for Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery MoH Ukraine, whose specialists save lives of children with congenital heart disorders.
   Since 2010, the social project "With Kyiv and for Kyiv" has been functioning at the University. Launched by the academic staff and student community, it aims at meeting educational, cultural, recreational and sports needs of the capital's residents. The project fosters self-development and offers an excellent opportunity for those who are keen to realize their creative potential. It promotes good mood and enhances a sense of family through sharing common interests and participating in leisure activities.
   The Grinchenko’s community annually organize a student charity ball, as well as support people of the third age (Kyiv Geriatric Boarding House, Kyiv City Clinical Hospital of War Veterans).
