From April 1 to 8, 2019 the scientists of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University - Dean of the Faculty of History and Philosophy, Doctor of Sciences in Philosophy, Professor Olena Aleksandrova, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of History and Philosophy, Doctor of Sciences in History, Professor Halina Sahan, Associate Professor of the Department of Philosophy of the Faculty of History and Philosophy, PhD in Philosophy Ruslana Martych, have completed the training on studying the history of Islam in Istanbul (Turkey). The training was held with the assistance of the Mufti of the Religious Administration of Muslims of Ukraine "Ummah" Said Ismagilov, the employee of the Cultural and Educational Center of Sinan Pasha Muhamed Timoshev, the president of the Center for Religious Studies and International Spiritual Relations Ihor Kozlovskyi.

The delegation from Grinchenko University visited Marmara University, participated in the round table "Ukraine-Turkey: common historical past and prospects of cooperation" held at Fatih Sultan Mehmet University. At Sinan Pasha Cultural and Educational Center the staff of Grinchenko University listened to a series of lectures, in particular on the writing of Koran, Sur, Calligraphy, current Turkish policy on the education of youth.

On the 14th – 17th 2011 in Malmo, Sweden, the General Assembly of European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) approved the application form of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University as an Associate Member of EAEA.


European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) is the European non-profit organization and a European NGO with 116 member organizations in 43 countries. EAEA influences EU policies on non-formal adult education and lifelong learning; represents adult education civil society in official working groups and conferences.
