On September 14-15, 2019, within the framework of the European Heritage Days, theatrical excursions "Kyiv of Borys Grinchenko's Times" and "Kyiv in the Works by Ivan Nechui-Levytskyi" were organized and conducted by the Scientific Society of students, postgraduate students, doctoral students and young researchers of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University.

For the second year in a row the students of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University, who pursue a degree in the educational program "Language and Literature (Japanese)", do internship in the Country of the Rising Sun. During August 2019, five four-year and two-year students of the Department of Oriental Languages and Translation of the Institute of Philology, namely Nadiia Babiuk, Maria Shirokova, Yevheniia Tikhonchuk, Anastasia Grytsay, Anastasia Motorna have completed the internship in Japan.
During the internship Grinchenko University students not only improved their level of Japanese, but also became more familiar with the culture of Japan. The students gained unforgettable impressions after visiting the ancient Japanese cities of Nara and Kyoto, as well as the economic and financial capital of Japan, Osaka.
On the 14th – 17th 2011 in Malmo, Sweden, the General Assembly of European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) approved the application form of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University as an Associate Member of EAEA.
European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) is the European non-profit organization and a European NGO with 116 member organizations in 43 countries. EAEA influences EU policies on non-formal adult education and lifelong learning; represents adult education civil society in official working groups and conferences.
The benefits for our University as a member of the Association are as follows:
- We get access to Association services and benefit from their work.
- We can add our voice to the debate on adult education and actively support the advocacy work for adult education in Europe.
- We join a network of more than 120 associations from across Europe and more than 120 associations from across Europe.
- We can join EAEA events and share information and experiences in the educational issues.
