The Student Self-Government Council of the Faculty of Information Technologies and Mathematics at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University is the executive body of FITM's Student Self-Government, that provides protection of the rights and interests of students and their participation in the management of a higher education institution.
Main goals:
- formation of civic culture, active citizenship of students, their self-government skills, their preparation for competent and responsible participation in society life;
- providing assistance to those who are learning to acquire the knowledge and practical skills necessary for the formation of highly qualified specialists.
Main tasks:
- take part in solving issues related to the training of highly qualified specialists;
- develop proposals to improve the quality of the educational process, taking into account the scientific and professional interests of students;
- assist the management of the University and the Faculty, other student associations in solving educational and scientific problems, issues related to educational processes, organization of leisure and life of students, promotion of healthy lifestyles;
- assist in conducting work with students aimed at raising their awareness and demands on the level of their knowledge, education of a caring attitude to the property complex of the University;
- promote the implementation of socially significant youth initiatives;
- organize and conduct events aimed at satisfying the interests of FITM students
