Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University 

As part of the British-Ukrainian joint program, on June 20-23, 2023, professors from Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University and their colleagues from Queen's University Belfast held a series of joint seminars and workshops. Ukrainian scholars and representatives of the host university presented their vision and constructively discussed a range of topics related to the war in Ukraine, its impact on social processes within the country and international relations. The major topics were the war, its impact on the implementation and content of higher education, losses, migration, and ways to develop British-Ukrainian scientific cooperation.

The third working day of Grinchenko University researchers at Queen's University Belfast began with a brilliant and substantive report by Viktor Zvonar, Doctor of Science in Economics, who in his presentation covered all aspects of losses for national urbanism, labour market, economy, environment and their consequences for Europe. The topic was continued by Dr. Merav Amir, a representative of the School of Natural and Built Environment, a structural unit of the host university.

On the 14th – 17th 2011 in Malmo, Sweden, the General Assembly of European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) approved the application form of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University as an Associate Member of EAEA.

European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) is the European non-profit organization and a European NGO with 116 member organizations in 43 countries. EAEA influences EU policies on non-formal adult education and lifelong learning; represents adult education civil society in official working groups and conferences.

The benefits for our University as a member of the Association are as follows:

- We get access to Association services and benefit from their work.

- We can add our voice to the debate on adult education and actively support the advocacy work for adult education in Europe.

- We join a network of more than 120 associations from across Europe and more than 120 associations from across Europe.

- We can join EAEA events and share information and experiences in the educational issues.
