Prof. Dr Vilma Cingiene from the Institute of Leadership and Strategic Management at Mykolas Romeris University (Vilnius, Lithuania) presented an open guest lecture for PhD, Master and Bachelor degree students of the Faculty of Health, Physical Education and Sports at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University on June 1 and 2, 2021. As to deepen communication opportunities among students of the University, the lecture was also attended by students of the Faculty of Information Technology and Management.

Prof. Vilma Cingiene was invited as to the cooperation agreement between Universities within the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Teaching project for 2020-2021.

The lecturer outlined the main aspects of sports development in Europe and Lithuania, in particular, special attention was paid to grassroots sport. Students were presented with a comprehensive analysis of the sports management system, its elements, levels of management of sports organizations at the state and local levels. During the lectures, students learned about the features of hosting international sports events (on the example of EuroBasket 2011).
Prof. Vilma Cingiene paid special attention to the opportunities for cooperation of young scientists in international projects, in particular Erasmus + GeForm, between Mykola Romeris University and Borys Grinchenko University of Kyiv.

3rd International Scientific and Practical Online Conference «Health, Physical Education and Sport: Perspectives and Best Practices» was held as Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University’s Science Festival – 2021 event on 12-13 May, 2021. The main purpose of the conference is to create platform for researchers, scientists and experts from different countries to share experiences, find effective approaches to the application of modern health technologies, innovative practices in sports and physical education.

Since the beginning of 2020, the world has been suffering from the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, which has significantly changed people's lives, negatively affected most industries, including education and sports, and posed serious challenges to the health sector. Not coincidentally, among the main topics discussed by the participants of the plenary and sectional sessions were the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on physical education at school, active leisure of people, sports in general. The conference program also includes traditional topics related to the training of athletes in Olympic sports, physical education of various groups, modern fitness technologies, physical therapy and ergotherapy.
More than 100 representatives of higher and secondary education institutions from 10 countries (Ukraine, Slovak Republic, Republic of Lithuania, India, Republic of Turkey, Republic of Ireland, Republic of Slovenia, Romania, Togo, USA) attended the conference.

On the 14th – 17th 2011 in Malmo, Sweden, the General Assembly of European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) approved the application form of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University as an Associate Member of EAEA.


European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) is the European non-profit organization and a European NGO with 116 member organizations in 43 countries. EAEA influences EU policies on non-formal adult education and lifelong learning; represents adult education civil society in official working groups and conferences.
